———————————————————————–
As you can probably tell by all of the handmade hoopla (tour poster and tour theme song) on our internet social networking webpages (myspaces, facebookings, and tweetmachines), we are gearing up for a very, very cold tour adventure…to be specific: MARCH INTO MARCH LIKE WE’RE ONLY HALF AS LONELY AS WE ARE- A FEBRUARY/MARCH TOUR ADVENTURE. I’m praying to Elliott that we don’t find black ice and die…please let me release a few more albums first, higher power(s)! From now until the tour kicks off, we will continue to work our freezing buns off prepare to fuck you guys up with the concert experience you won’t forget this winter season!
Here are the dates, as of recently:
Feb 27 – Cincinnati, OH @ Rohs St. Café
Feb 28 – Park Hills/Covington, KY @ Park Hills House
Mar 2 – Dayton, OH @ South Park Tavern
Mar 3 – Lansing, MI @ Basement 414
Mar 4 – Grand Rapids, MI @ Mixtape Café
Mar 5 – Chicago, IL @ The Boiler Room
Mar 6 – Normal, IL @ Coffee Nation

Oh Goodness, you wont want to miss this one!!!! trust me, trust me! ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIVE IN NORMAL, ILLINOIS, because we just might play our whole album in it’s entirety for you if you kids are as out-of-control as usual.
The tour theme song can be heard on our myspace main page, as well as downloaded on several different websites (none of which I know! haha. Could someone kind maybe post a link in the comments? <3<3).
Lastly but not leastly, here is video of us freaks recording our full band part for the tour theme song. This is the take we actually used. Sweet? YES! yes? yes…

In other news, an interview (compsed via email) with me was posted today on
the exciting music website DOUBLEDANCE! here is a link, to read a few of my many disturbing thoughts:
http://doubledance.ca/artists/interview-with-joe-of-this-is-my-suitcase/
here is a clip of said interview that i picked totally randomly, to hopefully get you excited to read on:
If you were given a chance to tour with any band, dead or alive, who would you choose to tour with?
Holy Shit, why would you even tease me with this question? Obviously, you opening up the “dead or” half of the question makes answering impossible. Obvious answer: THE BEATLES; however, i would ideally tour with them post Abbey Road (to see “Oh Darling” live) and they had stopped touring by this point, so my final “dead” answer is: ELLIOTT SMITH. I could write a book on why I believe Elliott and I were destined to be friends, so a tour would be a perfect chance to work my charm and befriend this genius. As far as living bands, that is easy: WE WANT TO TOUR WITH THE FLAMING LIPS EVERYDAY FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES!

for those of you wondering, our next/already written/best album is coming along surprisingly well still. expect us to debut it live by the end of the year! get ready to freak!!
———————————————————————————–
we just shot some new promotional photos out in the coldness of the outdoors a few days ago. the photos were taken by Joe O Riordan’s (our bassist, formally Joe Fitzgerald before an optional/legal name change) kindly ladyfriend and (often times) TIMS merchgirl in Columbus, Hannah!
THIS IS MY SUITCASE presenting the full four-piece album artwork for THE KEYS TO CAT HEAVEN!

life on the record farm.

let it snow.

there are a lot more where that came from. these are some samples until we decide what to do with them exactly! <3
